Norman Conquest Day 2011

Happy Norman Conquest Day, everyone! I hope you enjoy this little animated reenactment of the Norman Conquest through the Bayeux Tapestry. Now I'm off to buy my annual Norman Conquest Day cake! :-)

Very cool animation! But seriously, you eat a cake each year on this day? What flavor?

Actually, yes, I do buy a cake every year. :-) Usually just white with butter cream frosting. There has to be room on top to decorate it with little medieval soldiers. Click on the "Norman Conquest Day" label at the end of this blog, and you can see all my Norman Conquest Day cakes through the years.
