Medieval Word of the Day

Relics: objects venerated as sacred from their association with a saint or martyr.

Reliquary: a container where relics are stored.

  2. We don't know now. It could have been a lock of a saint's hair or one of their bones or teeth or a piece of clothing that they wore, pretty much anything associated with a saint that would fit!
